CalArts/Book Machine graphic design participants settle in for a full day of design at the LA Art Book Fair

Graphic design BFA and MFA students and publisher Onestar Press are joining forces at this year’s LA Art Book Fair to design and print 80 books in two days. The initiative, called Book Machine, allows twenty designers and eighty public participants to work together to conceive, design and complete each book project (from start to finish) within a 3.5 hour work session! Stop by today and see all the great books we are designing! All the books will be on view Sunday, February 1 at the Art Book Fair with commentary on select books from Christophe Boutin of Onestar Press. Special thanks to project co-ordinator and producer Eline Mul.
