MFA alumnus (2003) Jae Hyouk Sung is back at CalArts with ten of his students from Kookmin University in Seoul for a two week project with CalArts GD BFA4s. The project is a companion to last Summer’s visit to Seoul by a group of CalArts students. The project has Kookmin students create posters in response to mythical, and deliberately mistranslated, texts written about three different sites in California, by the BFA4s. The project includes visits to these cultural sites, and the results will be on display over the next two weeks in the cases outside the MacLab.

Jae Hyouk Sung will also be giving a lecture and presenting his work in A1112d, Thursday Feb 5th at 7pm.
