The 4th Winter Institute is currently underway, with students from Hongik University in Seoul once again participating in a four week intensive program run by the Graphic Design Program. As in previous years the course covers Techniques and Design in Motion Graphics through a single project, structured to take the students through concept and ideation, storyboarding, style frames, animatics, production, animation, through to a final edit. This years visiting faculty are Edwin Alvarenga, Daryn Wakasa, David Lewandowski, and Carsten Becker, aided by Teaching Assistants from the MFA Motion Graphics Specialization.
