The BFA’s annual T-Shirt Show is an event the whole school comes out to enjoy, and this year was no exception. The show, titled Laundry Day, had a steady line of students winding through the clever cardboard box queue the design team arranged across the floor of the main gallery. Mina Shoaib, BFA3, said of the 1,200 shirts they printed, they almost sold out entirely .

“The best part,” Mina says, “is always the end, once it comes together. When the exhibition is all ready and you get to see all the students in line, and the commotion is going on, and its pretty crazy but shows-off all the work that was done. Screen-printing the shirts was a fun experience, although its pretty hectic, with about 7 people printing shirts all at once and try to print them perfectly; it’s an intense environment but one that was exciting to be a part of.”

This year’s team included Nic Escobar (Art BFA 2017), Mina Shoaib (Art BFA 2017), Younchung Sam Jung (Art BFA 2017), Tiffany Lee (Art BFA 2017), Sijia Li (Art BFA 2017), Samantha Shiu (Art BFA 2017), Monique Wilmoth (Art BFA 2017), and Igzy Yavuz (Art BFA 2017).
